The Vanguard University Department of Music exists to nurture a lifelong pursuit of musical excellence in emerging artists from diverse backgrounds. The music program fosters skills development, encourages experiential education, and instills community engagement, while preparing students for careers in education, performance, ministry, and the surrounding arts industry. Music majors studying General Music, Worship Leadership, and Pre-Teacher Certification (Music Education) along with students from nearly 20 different disciplines participate in our esteemed university performing groups reaching 30,000 people annually.
