Vanny Preem

Vanny Preem is the creative alias of Evan Bonilla, a boundary-pushing, Honduran artist born in Long Island, New York and raised in the cultural blend of Raleigh and Garner, North Carolina. A member of the collective Hardknocks ENT, Preem has been making music since 2019, first gaining traction through a string of raw, emotional singles on SoundCloud.

He’s released standout projects like Last Summer, the cult-favorite Sad Throwing Gang Signs While Vicente Fernández Plays in the Background, and Stonecold Summer—a gritty, genre-bending body of work that laid the groundwork for his most recent project, CARNIVAL. CARNIVAL expands his sonic universe, serving as both a continuation and evolution of themes from Stonecold Summer, while teasing the next and final chapter in an upcoming trilogy.

Drawing influence from the emotional range of Aventura, the innovation of Kanye West, and the intensity of bands like Pierce the Veil and Linkin Park, Vanny blends rap, post-punk, rock, bachata, and reggaeton into a sound that defies categories—raw, theatrical, and deeply personal.
