Varun's musical journey ignited with an early exposure to underground Music , leading him from clandestine parties to a profound love for music. Embracing DJing in 2010, he quickly became a fixture in Goa's local scene, supporting projects like "Together at Tito’s" by Nikhil Chinappa and Peal with luminaries such as John Digweed and Simon Dunmore.
As his sonic palette expanded, Varun ventured into music production, achieving acclaim with releases on labels like The Purr Music, Balkan Connection, Beatfreak Recordings, Movement Recordings, Zephyr Music and ZYNC Records. His percussion-infused grooves and raw bass-lines captured the attention of international DJs like Nicole Moudaber, Maceo Plex, Mind Against , Solomun , Luciano, and Paco Osuna.
In 2015, Varun launched 'Evolve' nights at Chronicle in Goa, featuring renowned artists like Artbat, Guy J, Ben Bhomer and many more alongside local talents. Despite a weekly schedule of three gigs, Varun remains deeply involved in artist programming at premier venues like Mayan Beach Club, Diaz Pool Club, Hayati, and Ukiyo, showcasing his unwavering dedication to pushing the underground sound in India. Varun is a dynamic force, seamlessly blending his passion for music with a thriving role in the industry.
