Indonesian singer-songwriter and producer Victoria Chelsea, known as VEEY, has been immersed in music from a young age. She quietly nurtured her ambition until the pandemic, when she discovered her passion for creating music.
Her debut, “Closure.” released in 2021, exemplifies this, as does her debut EP, Long Lost Tears. from the same year. In 2023, she released her debut album, The Water Drowned Us In the End, a deep exploration of loss in various forms, featuring the track “I’m Leaving This All At Once.” which has surpassed 50,000 streams.
She is Influenced by artists such as Lorde, Grimes, Lykke Li and Halsey, VEEY also possesses a rare gift to self-write, self-produce, and even engineer her own discography, often collaborating with long-time friend BURDN.
Creating music has changed the way she copes with the pain and joy she encounters in life. “All of my songs always have this sense of a deep meaning that really connects with myself as a person. They are basically me in a form of melodies,” she mentioned.
