We are Vela, a metalcore band from Baltimore, MD. Fans have described our music as “classic 2000’s metalcore with a modern twist.” We take inspiration from classic bands like Trivium, Killswitch Engage, and Lamb of God and add a modern progressive flair similar to bands like Periphery, Born of Osiris, and Veil of Maya.
