Having developed a deep interest in traditional Turkish music throughout his educational journey and career, Yöntem strengthened his connection with music from an early age. Born in 1989 in Burdur, the artist specializes in Turkish folk music and traditional instruments, and has attracted attention with his outstanding achievements in instruments such as kabak kemane and bağlama. In 2016, he won the first prize in the “Teke Region Folk Instruments Competition” in the kabak kemane category.
Currently, Yöntem, who continues his academic duty as an associate professor at Afyon Kocatepe University State Conservatory, continues his studies in the field of education and performance in order to contribute to the future of Turkish folk music and traditional instruments.
