Chicago native bi-way of Atlanta and Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Velvet started her music career in the year of 2014 at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. There she majored in Music Education and engulfed herself into the many art forms there is.
Being a product of an HBCU, Velvet saw the inequalities of today's world and decided that enough is enough. She Kreates her music around the basic necessity everyone needs......healing.
"So much music is about killing, pain, and the tangible things in life that ultimately bring us down. Is it time for someone to smooth over things, bring back true R&B, and what it felt like to listen to your favorite song at the record store."
