Vemedy is a singer and songwriter based in West London specialising in dancehall-infused R&B.
After deciding to go solo in 2017 and inspired by the events of the Grenfell Fire Tragedy, Vemedy released his debut single “<a href="spotify:album:5ak7Ans5bHmCSXjWGlDMqj" data-name="Somebody">Somebody</a>” engineered by <a href="spotify:artist:7HwLIdc9iW1pGshu7Xdkd7" data-name="Karmah Cruz">Karmah Cruz</a>. The music video for "<a href="spotify:album:5ak7Ans5bHmCSXjWGlDMqj" data-name="Somebody">Somebody</a>” was directed by Kirx and premiered on <a href="spotify:artist:4PCeJ2EIn3YtzYYRsHHWyy" data-name="GRM Daily">GRM Daily</a>.
During the summer of 2018, he released two further singles "<a href="spotify:track:7mCLqQ0QU1UDCp3b7ZSusr" data-name="Take Me Higher">Take Me Higher</a>" and "<a href="spotify:track:2whPmdIJkNAykoILLowf0M" data-name="Sprite">Sprite</a>". His third single "<a href="spotify:track:2whPmdIJkNAykoILLowf0M" data-name="Sprite">Sprite</a>" features Bermudian singer and songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:2dxEv5CL6NXDnlkJ4lUrF1" data-name="Nase">Nase</a>. Towards the end of 2018, Vemedy recorded "<a href="spotify:track:0Vd0wNo22m7y9xo2IAmi5s" data-name="Move Me">Move Me</a>", a release under RnBass Music engineered and produced in Los Angeles by <a href="spotify:artist:6qP0iUSGPP2IUpRrhYG9hb" data-name="J Maine">J Maine</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:0f5nVCcR06GX8Qikz0COtT" data-name="Omarion">Omarion</a> - "<a href="spotify:track:4N1r0Iiy853aVbYmSXvYli" data-name="BDY on Me">BDY on Me</a>") and award-winning producer <a href="spotify:artist:0QRgsgB478vaAWSBSqp62w" data-name="FlipTunesMusic">FlipTunesMusic</a>.
Vemedy then released one single entitled <a href="spotify:album:1AZzP0nNZvY7D0YtE1sKA7" data-name="Sun Kissed Skin">Sun Kissed Skin</a> and featured on <a href="spotify:artist:5jtyzJmxe5WL8TVZPVgMkx" data-name="Jay Kage">Jay Kage</a>’s single <a href="spotify:album:0Dc4xlkszNtfYm7Ab8cIII" data-name="Homesick">Homesick</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7aFReRpdb3KHtzITvNJMOd" data-name="Jaysiah">Jaysiah</a>’s debut EP ‘The Awakening’ during 2019.

The project contains 7 songs and was released on July 7th 2020.
Now in 2022, Vemedy is ready to make his return with a series of new singles being recorded and ready for release.
