Ephemeral and mythological experience, the Parisian duo has resumed in its own way the tragic account of the fallen love between Venus and Adonis seen by the prism of a hybrid warthog, the contradictory and tortured personality of which as become their logo.
From an unconditional and impossible love "Veneris Dies" (2014), to the barbarous and jealous murder of Venus' lover "Sola Nocte" (2015), Vendredi falls gradually into madness before ending its life " Ad Finem "(2016).
This epilogue EP, composed of 7 tracks is therefore a testamentary and luminous work, recapitulative of the influences and method that made the project's signature: a funambulous and dreamy beatronica where the balance between work and chance is always deliciously unstable. Acoustic instruments and machines chat and carelessly overlap on daytime beats of specious indolence, and the shadows of @Herbert, @James Blake or @Flying Lotus dance on the walls.
