VENUS

<a href="spotify:artist:2dpSeBgrVQwcv4nDvrKv9p" data-name="VENUS">VENUS</a> is a &#64;Progressive Thrash band from Athens, Greece, under the banner of the
label XTREEM MUSIC. The band was born on the summer of 2021 by Giorgos and
Antonis and by the summer of 2022, the first EP <a href="spotify:album:1iKMTHkVRSCFIfWcMh9JZs" data-name="Project Lamda">Project Lamda</a> was released by the
German label Pure Steel Records. The mini album gained a lot of great feedback and
reviews and set a strong foundation for the band.

While wasting no time.. the tail end of 2022 found the band in the studio recording
the 1st full-length album under the title <a href="spotify:album:1YFlSACsNOCKE6HevKejzC" data-name="Obscured Until Observed">Obscured Until Observed</a> . When the
album was ready the band joined forces with the mighty XTREEM MUSIC and the
album was released on 14th of November 2023. The album claimed amazing reviews
from the worldwide press and metal community and even hailed by many as one of
the best Prog/Thrash albums of 2023 , this was a real step up for the band that was
established even more in the metal scene.

In 2024, Venus performed live for the first time, opening for black/thrash legends <a href="spotify:artist:4S2qftLTvdEFvIPPTYmeg6" data-name="Aura Noir">Aura Noir</a> in Athens. With a full lineup now in place, the band has released a new digital-only single, <a href="spotify:album:7tkLpHb1x8cesqhtRw5QJl" data-name="Uploaded Brains">Uploaded Brains</a> , as a first taste of what’s to come while work continues on their next full-length album.
