Vera Bieber, born in 1996 in Ebingen, studied recorder at the Trossingen University of Music with Prof. Carsten Eckert, as well as at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Prof. Dorothee Oberlinger and Prof. Walter van Hauwe.
She won 1st prize at the International Solo Competition of the ERPS, 2nd prize at the Premio Selìfa in Italy, and 1st prize at the Open Recorder Days Amsterdam. She also received the Special Prize of the Irino Foundation (Tokyo) (WESPE) and was a finalist at the TARF competition in Tel Aviv/Jerusalem.
In 2024, she was invited by the German Embassy in Luanda for a concert tour in Angola and was awarded a special prize by the Early Music Shop (UK).
