Vera is a singer/songwriter from Stolberg/Germany. She released her first song “Do you hear the call, sister?” on youtube in feb. 2024. It was written as the theme song for her online festival “Rise up Sister! - Living Awakened Femininity ”. She received the melody and lyrics of the song, but it was months of work with her friends Sarah Zimmermann and Andrea Rex that turned it into the song that touched the hearts of many women.
Her love of singing sacred music has put her on the path to making music herself. She only learned to play the guitar in July 2019 and shortly after started her first singing group with her friend Sarah Zimmermann. This set her on a journey of hosting cermeony and singing circles over the next few years until she felt strongly that she needed to host her Online Festival “Rise up Sister!“. She is very grateful that healing music has become such an important and beneficial part of her life.
When she received her first song, she realized that something had changed over the last few years and a creativity had been unleashed. It seems as if her soul has set her on a path to create healing music. She is still surprised that she has written six more songs since then and is very dedicated to record an album to share it with the world.
