A singer/songwriter who creates atmospheric, alternative pop with contemporary soul, Vera Rivera appeared on stage in 2016 with a handful of downtempo, indie pop songs accompanied by her piano. Her 2017 debut single „Let me be there for you“ won German radio contests so that the stations played it for several weeks. In 2019, she experimented with a German pop ballad „Glaub an Dich“. This purely piano pop song means „Believe in yourself“. For her, it is a mantra every listener should keep in mind. The Yoga loving singer believes in the power of mantras.
Vera Rivera started writing at the age of 15 whenever she played the piano. She grew up listening to Fiona Apple, Garbage, Portishead but also old Motown songs , Sade and Toni Braxton.
In the last years she visualized more electronic elements in her music. In her new craft „Look up at me“ she transformed her visions in a track with moody, dark, indie pop with shades of electronic and contemporary R&B.
