Catherine-Audrey Lachapelle et Léandre Joly-Pelletier plongent la scène musicale québécoise dans une ambiance du nord des Appalaches avec leur projet VERANDA. Suite à la sortie d’un premier EP titré Yodel Bleu, en 2020, le couple a passé sa pandémie entre le bord d’une rivière à La Macaza et les scènes du Québec, de l’Ouest canadien, du Yukon et de l’Alaska.

Leur nouvel album intitulé Là-Bas offre des trames aux réflexions profondément humaines qui tissent le country et le bluegrass avec la modernité.
Imaginez un endroit loin du chemin où se trouve une cabane bucolique dans les bois devant laquelle se bercent tranquillement Dolly Parton, Ralph Stanley et Emmylou Harris. Veranda, c’est ça.
