Verdes (Souronil Pal) is a self-taught musician from Kolkata, India. He began playing guitar at the age of 15 and has been writing music ever since. He is inspired by a wide range of artists, including Periphery, Jakub Zytecki, and early references from Green Day.
Verdes released his debut instrumental single, “Reverie.” The dreamy track is a tone setter for Verdes’ upcoming music, which he describes as “Dream Prog” under the broader genre of progressive music.
“Reverie” is produced by Decoupe and mixed and mastered by Pratik Mohanty. The song features a soulful guitar melody that is complimented by orchestra-like sounds. The beautiful album art by Abhiroop Banerjee aptly depicts the day-dreamy mood with a man with his head in the clouds.
