Dear me,
It all starts small, as it always does. I remember standing in the shower, reflecting on my experiences, and suddenly, the realization hit me: this whole situation is "the book of my life that I don't wanna read." This metaphor settled in my mind, becoming the spark that ignited the first song and inspired me to create the entire album.
To say that I was apprehensive about being vulnerable during the album's creation is an understatement. With these songs, I laid all my cards on the table, leaving no room for retreat.
Making an album is an incredibly challenging endeavor, from the initial writing to the production process. But the difficulties are amplified when you don't have a team of collaborators, just musical instruments, a microphone, a computer, and yourself.
I know my album might not be a masterpiece, but for me, it's a triumph. I'm proud of myself, for the sake of that little girl who dreamt of becoming a singer since childhood, writing her own songs and pleading with her parents to enroll her in music school. This album is a testament to that dream.
I truly hope that my songs can resonate with others and offer them the solace they need. I hope it will be an example that no matter how unrealistic a dream may seem, it can become your reality if you take small steps towards it every day. Because while faith is important, action is what genuinely transforms dreams into reality.
With love,
Me
