Veronika

Born in Barrie, Ontario Canada, Veronika began singing at a very young age. With the support of her parents, Veronika began to study singing along with acting early on, ultimately joining the Ontario Children’s Choir where she excelled with her distinctive vocals. Having also taken theater classes over the years, she went on to enroll at Randolph College for the Performing Arts as well as Second City Conservatory where she honed her skills in both improv and comedy. After graduating in 2015, she appeared on stage in various productions including “Spring Awakenings,” “Footloose,” “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” and many others.
Veronika’s skills in both music and acting landed her a role in FX's “What We Do in the Shadows.”
Most recently Veronika was tapped to be one of the voices that tells Alex's stories in “Becoming Alex”, debuting in the fall of 2021. The show is centered around Alex Russell, a young singer/songwriter struggling to navigate an ever-changing musical landscape.
In preparation for the debut of "Becoming Alex", Veronika has recorded two of the first season’s songs for the series. The first single titled “So Many Lies” peaked on the Adult Contemporary Charts at #18 and was followed by "Homesick". "Homesick" peaked at #16 on the Adult Contemporary Charts and continues to climb both the CHR/Top 40 and Country charts.
