We are Verre, from Rome, Italy. From the ashes of band called THAEIA we rise and “Sleepless” is a song we worked on for over a year, during a time of intense transition for us, a period marked by several line-up changes within THAEIA that ultimately led us to become what we are now: VERRE.
“Sleepless” was born with the old line-up and grew with us day after day, until we realized we had to give much more not only for ourselves, but for the sake of the music. That’s why we decided to preserve this sound, this new style, and turn it into something bigger and more enduring.
“Sleepless” is a rebirth after a long, introspective struggle, and not only that. It’s the awareness that evolution can only come through great pain. “Sleepless” is about abandoning oneself shedding the superficial parts once believed to be essential in pursuit of something stronger.
