East coast trio <a href="spotify:artist:5KjycY0bxwkCJ3wr3ECpyT" data-name="Verstand">Verstand</a> consists of classically trained percussionist and Berklee College of Music student Jake Thompson, established pianist Clay Crockett and producer Karl Schmidt from <a href="spotify:artist:4Ddyx7zXwjWX1yS3wsDdTN" data-name="Harbors">Harbors</a>. The group started making music in the basement of their mom's house, breaking out with their debut track <a href="spotify:album:3i5bCYI0PtpyF2VebdJwTd" data-name="An Eternity Apart (Intro)">An Eternity Apart (Intro)</a>. The name Verstand (coming from the old German word meaning "to understand") compliments their music with recognizable traits such as deep pads, haunting chords, redefining melodies and classical influences allowing the listener to feel a sense of euphoria and understanding.
