Vertiginous is an alternative post-indie rock band started in 2023 in Santa Cruz, California. Vertiginous utilizes at times airy and at other times time-bending and angular guitar riffs, meticulously calculated and harmonic bass lines, and jazz inspired drum rhythms to create a well-informed and experimental relationship between harmony and rhythm that often swells into an amalgamation at the climax of their songs. Vertiginous has been inspired greatly between a fusion of classic, progressive and avant-garde rock and jazz music to create sound which is emblematic of the title of the band itself.
