Date Street is a 4-piece rock group from Brea, California. The band was formed by frontman Darren Kaiser (Vocals/Guitars) during his sophomore year of High School. He quickly enlisted his brother Carson Kaiser (Bass/Vocals) and Eric De Masi on Drums, the schoolmates had found their connection with Popular Hard Rock music. In the following years (under the original monicker of Verum) the volume of their creativity increased blending alternative, progressive, and hard rock influences into a dynamic, atmospheric, and high energy sound at their childhood home on Date Street.
The band would undertake several more projects including ‘Something Went Wrong’ (2017), ‘Sling’ (2019) & ‘Heterochromia’ (2021). All the while playing countless shows around the Southern California area. In 2023, the band adopted a new member, Christopher “Mitch” Alejandre, as second guitarist/vocalist. The group then released “FEED” the same year, which preceded their first tour consisting of thirteen shows on the West Coast that captivated audiences and generated a fan base. They quickly followed-up the live shows with a writing retreat where they were stuck for several days in a storm. In November of 2024, the band signed to DMG Recordings and are currently finishing up their debut six-song EP with the label.
