Although they all hail from different parts of the UK, the band formed in Brighton, where vocalist and guitarist Gareth Carter, and guitarist Tom Young met whilst “Studying” music. Ten years of close friendship followed where upon the two built a solid understanding of each other musically, and personally. They set about recruiting a bassist and drummer and needed look no further than Sam Turner and Dave Bull, Vesture was born.
Following the release of their first and well received single “Dust and Parts” the band unfortunately suffered a hiatus as drummer Dave moved to Canada. The band began the search for a new drummer whose technical ability and passion for playing rivalled their own and eventually found this in abundance with Jack Lowe.
With an assertive raw charm, you can expect everything from graceful vast ambience, to pure unadulterated filth.
An impressive, energetic and emotionally charged live show has seen them pull support slots with the likes of Fatherson, Toska, itoldyouiwouldeatyou, Luo, and Haggard Cat.
