Véyah is a 21 year old vocal prodégé, song-writer and multi instrumentalist, born in Hyderabad, India but raised from the age of 1, in New Jersey, just outside of New York City. Like so many others, her parents moved here in search of a better life for themselves and their family and
because of this, she embodies an incredible mix of cultures. On one hand, Véyah was influenced by her western upbringing and on the other, by Indian Classical music and South Indian Film Classics. Her own sound is soulful and sincere and carries within it all of who she is, evident in her her latest single "Drown" which embodies South Asian culture flavors.
