Vi2 is an up and coming electro pop duo, formed by the Norwegian sisters Victoria and Benedicte Vinje, who write and perform music in a modern and urban way. They both worked as individual artists in their earlier years, but found out that if they worked together, they could reach a higher potensial.
Musically speaking, they both have different features and skills, which opens up a wide range of possibilities to complete each other. Together they share an unafraid attitude characterized by honesty, edge and confidence.
Vi2 is extremely hard working, limits are nonexisting, and their main focus is to deliver quality from start to end, no matter what.
Benedicte and Victoria have also worked as back-up singers, and performed multiple times at big productions like «VG-lista topp 20» and other Norwegian TV-shows. They have worked with well-known artists, such as Sandra Lyng and Margaret Berger. The long experience of live performances gives them a solid and professional weight standing, and the main focus is always to deliver quality from start to finish, no matter what.
On December 1st 2017, they released their first single. "On Repeat" has an innovative sound, and reveals a story involving two parts with a longing for each other, and a longing of letting go. The song is filled with contrasts, and reflects in many ways the distinguish between wants and needs. The production complements the songs message, with a mysterious, cold vibe and a feeling of "being lost".
