Vïceroy

From 2018, R&B, Afro-fusion and Hip-Hop artiste Vïceroy has weaved his way through the music landscape in a bid to inspire, remind and guide the masses as well as those who share similar goals with him. His sound, which comprises of a blend of both soothing and passionate melodies that evoke relatable and more often than not amorous memories within the mind's eye of listeners is one birthed gratitude to influences from the likes of Khalid, Bryson Tiller, H.E.R, Ella Mai, 6LACK, Kehlani and many others. His songs, evince him as the vulnerable and classic lover boy willing to take on all the odds and wounds of love and remain standing for what is love, if not the most passionate and most wholesome of emotions?
His journey as an artiste has not been a smooth one, with a myriad of obstacles lining every milestone of his life as an artist. But these obstacles, regardless of how trying and demotivating they were, did not deter him in the least.
In early 2022, Vïceroy returned to the scene with a tune featuring Nelly most would attest to not knowing they needed till the first lines of ''For You'' reached their starved ears. This tune once again reminded those who dared to forget that Vïceroy possessed a unique pen game capable of tugging at the heartstrings of all those who consumed his art.
He released his second official EP, ''It really do be like that'', on 25th August, 2023 with features from talented artistes like Louise, Dunni and last but definitely not least, Leigh.
