The woman behind gospel hits like "Because of Who You Are," "The Mercy Seat," and "Under the Blood," singer, songwriter, and worship leader Vicki Yoh'e was born in Normal, Illinois, raised in Rapid City, South Dakota, and spent her teen years in Hammond, Louisiana. In 1992 she released her self-titled debut album, while 1995 saw her join the major label-associated imprint <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Giant%22">Giant</a> with her album I Give You Me.
