Victor Fernandes

I am a composer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in New Jersey. I’ve played in bands like 'Their Planes Will Block Out the Sun' and 'Pioneer the Eel', but decided to step away from the comfort of group work and take on the challenge of writing and performing solo.

My self-released album, ‘Hide in the Shadows of the Quiet’ , offers an introspective glimpse into my life and influences, blending classical, jazz, and indie rock elements. Most of the instrumentation is self-performed: guitar, keyboards/synths, piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute and percussion. Additionally, the album features a string quartet, upright bass and Portuguese guitar.
