Born in Bogota, Colombia, Victor Garcia- Herreros arrived to the United States when he was 11 where he would begin his musical studies on drumset. At the age of nineteen he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where he began his formal education in Performance, Composition and Arranging. At the age of 24 he moved to New York City to pursue his career in music.
Since then Victor Garcia-Herreros has been performing his compositions in an array of musical settings from Jazz, Classical, New Age and Electronic music. Victor has collaborated with different theater and ballet companies including Tampa City Ballet where he was commisioned to write pieces of music for their 2023/24 season.
After many years in the music industry Victor has shifted his focus to his solo career as an artist. His latest release " Penumbra" is a musical journey into the worlds of both shadow and light.
