Hello, I’m Victoria, and I am a composer and violinist. I’m not particularly good at violin, and I’m just starting to learn the piano. My main instrument, ironically, is the computer.
I have been writing music since I was 14 years old, on a free program called Flat. I have had ideas for compositions for as long as I can remember, so when I learned that anyone can create music for free, it changed my life. That night I wrote my first couple pieces, and continued writing for fun. I wrote joke songs, and unserious melodies for piano that made sense to only me, and my friends at school.
When I was 16 I wrote my first orchestra. It wasn’t very good, and it had all sorts of chaotic points, but it made me happy. From that point on, I realized I wanted to write music for the rest of my life.
I have no actual training in musical composition, so I’ve been winging it. I am currently in a beginners music theory class at my college, and I plan to study musical composition in the future, once I get the basics. Regardless, I hope my music brings happiness to those that listen to it. Thanks for reading.
