Vieze Meisje is the singing, performing and all-encompassing second self of the mere mortal Maya Mertens. She writes idiosyncratic poetry that is at once heartwarmingly honest, hilariously funny and, at times, brutally elegant. Together with her producing brother-from-another- mother Azertyklavierwerke, she hosts the ‘Vieze Cirkel' which holds middle ground between concert, afterparty and a cult.

Assuming that life in paradise is embedded in the fearless "oomph oomph" and
that life is a Vieze Cirkel, Vieze Meisje establishes arbitrary collectivity in
a world that is constantly circling around itself.
