Vigil is a local pop; alternative pop; worship; contemporary Christian; soul music trio consisting of singer-songwriters Joshua Wright, Morgan Saulsberry and Kevin Bryan. Vigil began with two best friends leading worship together at their local church. After beginning a search to expand the band, Kevin became part of what is now a new era for Vigil.
Josh and Morgan made their official debut under the name Vigil in September of 2020 in the city of Lewisville, TX playing local coffee shops, wine houses, and small events. They have played at a variety of different locations all across the DFW Metroplex where they sing covers as well as original music that they have written together.
Joshua Wright was also the 2020 People’s Choice Award winner for the local concert series The Sounds of Lewisville which led to Vigil opening the Sounds of Lewisville concert series in the summer of 2021. As of 2021, Morgan has had the pleasure to write with Maverick City Music on a song called “Still Holy” and attended the Bethel Music songwriting practicum in Nashville. Joshua has written and been featured on 6 albums and 9 individuals singles. He has also performed for crowds of 4000+ in the United States and South Africa. Currently, Josh is part of a songwriting collective called Artisian Writers.
