Vik Sharma is a composer best known for his soundtracks to the TV series An Idiot Abroad, The Moaning of Life, and Hello Ladies. He composed the original score for the film Fighting with My Family, written and directed by Stephen Merchant. Sharma worked with Blur's guitarist and founder member Graham Coxon along with Hall Of Fame inductee, Jason Cooper, drummer with The Cure, to create a 'quintessentially British' rock soundtrack for the film. In July 2021 he released his debut solo long player, Listen Without Listening, an ambient album, combining guitar, piano and rich electronic soundscapes with binaural field recordings of nature. Celebrated novelist and essayist, Andrew O'Hagan wrote after listening, "All the chills, the static and the shoreline, the wonder and the weather. Stick your earphones in and go lie in the park and take it in. Brilliant'.
