Villaintropist is a Heavy Thrash Metal band based in Leiden, The Netherlands.
It was formed by Jesper Nibbelink early 2019.
After having to abandon his previous band Degenerate due to health issues, Jesper was eager to get back into the scene. Along with Michiel Witte (ex-Raiser) he released 4 songs, played some live-shows and gained local notoriety.
Most of the activities of Villaintropist came to a stop when the pandemic hit. With the future uncertain, they decided to team up with Roelof Klop to record an EP. These sessions took place in the latter half of 2021, with some help of (befriended <a href="spotify:artist:6ROyEbI1PoGfKEFyLnvShP" data-name="Obstruktor">Obstruktor</a> guitarist) Bas Leurs.
This collaboration resulted in the form of the ‘<a href="spotify:album:1ISln52y5sifDbSOajIdJn" data-name="Black Blood">Black Blood</a> ’ EP, which was released 2/2/2022.
