Theophilus De Bruin, professionally known as Villyn, is a South African rapper/emcee/poet and songwriter. Thus far he can never be described adequately, words that come close to who he really is behind his artistry are "bars"; "punchlines"; "metaphors"; "quadrupled entendres" & "multi-syllables". That is him, that is what he is into since he is from an era where bars matter no matter from what rapper.

Villyn grew up listening to Nas', Biggie & Pac and the first time he heard Tupac, he fell in love with RAP 2005 in elementary school. Hence, he can't be described adequately but precisely phenomenal, outstanding and great.

Fast forward to 2010, a half a decade later onwards in high school, Villyn discovered from listening to his idols and many others throughout the years that emceeing is a craft that requires not only talent but also knowledge. At a very tender age he saw that a rapper can never be an emcee and be ignorant. As a microphone fiend you have to read a lot of books to expand your vocab and acquire a lot of knowledge because the abstract thought has allowed Hip Hop to break through branching off into various styles. Nonetheless, after years of him studying the culture, Hip Hop, and its element, RAP music, the origins of Hip Hop got into him.
