VinaBlue is a Synthpop artist inspired by world music. She released her first song in 2003 on The New Funk Order virtual compilation album of artists inspired by Prince. Her song, "Move – JD Remix" was one of the top downloaded tracks from the album, getting over 1,000 downloads in the first 3 weeks.
In 2004, “Move” was also featured on Indie College Radio show The Upper Room with Joe Kelley, which aired on WVOF 88.5 FM, at Fairfield University, CT. This was the first radio show to be featured on Prince’s official website later that same year. VinaBlue also received radio airplay on KNSJ.org, 89.1fm in San Diego June 2014 with Truth of My Beauty on their Home Vibe San Diego show.
