Vince Cimo

Fusing a deep love for the vintage and fuzzy with contemporary production, Vince Cimo is a multi-instrumentalist producer and songwriter that blends acoustic and electronic elements into seamless, evocative soundscapes. A Buddhist, yogi and environmentalist, his lyrical content dives deep into themes of self-inquiry and questions our culture of materialism and ego.

After establishing roots in Classical piano as a child, Vince later branched out to learn guitar, drums and a myriad of other instruments. Heavily inspired by 60s psych rock, Brazillian Tropicália and Bebop, he started writing songs as a way to express his views and emotions about life and society. Vince is also the owner/inventor of Datalooper, a foot controller for Ableton Live, which he single-handedly prototyped, programmed and brought to market. He uses this pedal in conjunction with custom programmed iPad based interfaces to intuitively layer and loop sounds, bringing a distinctly human element into electronic music creation.

For almost 20 years, Vince has been creating experimental recordings and compositions that have never been released. Now sitting on a goldmine of completed EPs, he is finally ready to share his music with the world.
