Vince Lawrence is an internationally recognized innovator in dance music. Industry insiders recognize Vince as co-author of the first recording officially designated "house music" and is credited with the initial organization of Trax Records, the label that jump started the movement. Vince and the team at Slang MusicGroup have received numerous gold & platinum awards for their contributions. As a remixer, he has worked on Michael Jackson, Beyonce, John Legend, R Kelly, and others. Vince composed soundtracks for major brands and was contributing composer on one of the most successful daytime talk shows in history. Vince has directing, writing, production, music supervision and other credits for work in film.
