Vincenzo Parisi is an Italian pianist and composer living in Milan. His interests range from classical music to rock music, passing through experimental music. Brilliantly graduated in piano under the guidance of Irene Schiavetta, he perfected himself with some of the most famous contemporary pianists, including Aquiles Delle Vigne at the Universität Mozarteum, Massimiliano Damerini, Andrea Lucchesini, Antonio Ballista, Boris Petrushansky. He studied experimental composition in Conservatorio “G.Verdi” in Milano with Fabio Vacchi and Mario Garuti. Founder of the rockband Kafka On The Shore (more than 150 gigs all around Europe with the album “Beautiful But Empty”), he played with some of Italian rock scene artists like Nicolò Carnesi, Gianluca De Rubertis (Il Genio), Francesco De Leo, Chiara Castello (I’m Not a Blonde), Lodo Guenzi (Lo Stato Sociale), Mattia Barro (Splendore, L’orso), and many others. Finalist at the international competition Macerata Opera Festival 2019 for writing a work of musical theater together with the Hungarian director Hannah Gelesz. He regularly performs in duo with singer / performer Sandra Vesely. His debut album, "Zolfo", produced by Piano B Agency, is out now.
