Vinyl Sky is Boots Ottestad's side project. Boots is an English/Norwegian artist based in Nashville, TN. He spends most of his time writing for other artists (Robbie Williams, Tim McGraw, Andy Grammer, Mikky Ekko etc.) and has had many major placements in movies, tv and commercials (Budweiser, VISA, Grey's Anatomy, ESPN etc.).
In between the daily battles he manages to carve out time to write for himself and also to record other artists' songs that he loves; "I love trying to put a twist on a famous song. I love to come at it from somewhere unexpected. Sometimes I even succeed".
