Violet Raymoor is a dark synth rock music project from Ukraine, formed by composer/vocalist Glib Pekurovsky and guitarist Vitaliy Malafeevsky in 2012. The band is creating a mystic sound canvas, combining gloomy electronic music with a rock base and ethnic elements. It also forms an unusual mix of the eerie romance of Gothic Rock of 90-00's and an exciting story behind each song.

Because the true origins of Violet Raymoor are to be found in tales of old.

According to official records, Violet Raymoor was the name of the imaginary town, the sky of which was violet-colored owing to some kind of natural anomaly. The remnants of the town archive contain vague allusions to plots and mysteries, ages-old buildings and stone-block pavements, local theatres and Arts Academy, ghosts and noble families, light and darkness, good and evil. However, there's much more in them that still remains undeciphered.

Violet Raymoor was a finalist in the international Emergenza Festival. The most recent achievements of the band are successful opening acts for The 69 Eyes, Lord of the Lost, Clan of Xymox, and Solar Fake.
