Virus

Virus is a death metal band formed in Malmö (Skåne), Sweden in the early months of 2023. They have gone through several early lineup changes but in October of 2023 they settled with their debut lineup which resulted in: John as Rhythm Guitarist, Finn as Bassist, Neo as Drummer and Fergus as Lead Guitarist.

After a successful debut gig and a year of lots of amazing shows Virus had gained some popularity within the young alternative music scene in Skåne. And that meant finally releasing their debut record "Conspiracy" which also resulted in a successful debut gig. But after a series of unfortunate internal problems within Virus the band chose to part ways with Fergus.

Not long after that they asked their friend Diego Moreno (also notable for being in Ecdysis, another Malmö-based metal band) to join. Diego happily filled the empty spot and after a few months of turmoil the band is back, bigger and better than ever before!

Through blending the influences of the legends within old school death metal with some of the more modern techniques they have reached their own sound within Death Metal and are looking to release more great music and play more great shows.
