Victor (Vito) Trujillo Jr. (Lead Guitar/vocals) is a native of Taos, New Mexico, born in Los Alamos in
March of 1975 to Linda and Victor (Vito) Trujillo. His interest in music began when he was just 8 years
old. His father was instrumental in teaching him how to play the guitar. Vito started playing
professionally in a band when he was 11 years old. He joined his father to become a member in the
“Vito Y Alan“ band (1986-2000). Vito was also a member of Taos High Schools Mariachi group (1990-
1993). In 2006 Vito was asked by John Vargas to join the “Time Machine Band” (2006 - Current). The trio
has been performing throughout Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico. Vito has performed
with several other groups/bands throughout New Mexico during the last decade. In 2004 Vito founded
Adobe Records, a record label created by his father in 1973. Vito Trujillo Jr. grew up playing guitar for his
father’s band and continued within and carrying on the Northern New Mexico Music tradition, Vito
Trujillo Jr. is an independent artist, producer, and songwriter his music influences include but are not
limited to other genres such as Traditional Northern New Mexico, Mariachi, Tejano, Blues, Jazz and
Rock. More artistic influences include mostly guitar players like Wes Montgomery, Charlie Christian, Billy
Gibbons, Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Les Paul, BB King, and other Modern Country musicians.
