Vittoria Fleet first formed in London in 2009, a Gumtree advertisement responsible for bringing Shotter and Zerbo together in his search for a female vocalist to complement the music he was creating at the time. This chance meeting acted as the catalyst for a creative journey over the last nine years that has seen the pair forge a series of EP’s and albums together that trace an indelible mark between their influences and inspirations. Merging beat-driven techno-pop, esoteric ambience and Zerbo’s ever-present vocals, they created a dualistic space within which the organic and man-made aspects of their music can co-exist.
Leaving behind the last dying breaths of the East London rave scene they had first called home, together the duo relocated to Berlin in 2011. Together they made a home amongst the quiet streets that allowed them time to reflect on the nature of the music they make. By the dim glow and flashing lights that Berlin provides, Vittoria Fleet found their true identity - that of a mathematician - presenting an artful balance between the finished product and the processes required to get there. Finding beauty in the making, the raw energy, rough edges and masterful production create a perfect equation between the organic and digital aspects of their sound.
