Vive La Rose is the Nom de plum of Edinburgh songwriter David Luximon-Herbert, currently adding the finishing touches to a debut album. Recorded at Crows Nest Studios, Sheffield’s Yellow Arch, and Air Studios, the new album features guest appearances from Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey/Nick Cave), Mark Neary (Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds), and John Parker (Nizlopi) among others. It also features the Up North Orchestra, with string arrangements from Colin Elliot (Richard Hawley/Slow Club). Self-produced, and mixed by The Duke Spirit’s Olly Betts.
