Vivid Hues is a genre-blurring duo based in Sweden, creating lush, nostalgic soundscapes for the heart and the subconscious. It was formed by two Slovak artists - Matej Smutny and Juraj Oravec who have been trying to develop their own music style Colorful Electro Pop. Their third single "Holiday" is the song that they finally find as the one describing their own sound and place in a modern electro music of 2025. They mix electronics with live instruments such as drums, electric guitars or bass and they are also able to perform them using loopers and samples.
With swirling synths, ambient grooves, and vulnerable melodies, Vivid Hues drifts between dream pop, alt-R&B, and lo-fi psychedelia. Based between city lights and open sea, their sound is cinematic and intimate, made for late-night drives, long stares, and quiet unravelings.
