Hey I’m Vix, 30+ elder emo from Essex, England. I love making pop-punk, alternative, slightly metalcore, rock belters. Often my music is raw and literal in the lyrics and very emotionally charged. If it’s on my mind it’s probably coming out of my mouth one way or another. Music is cheaper than therapy and we’ve all got stuff to get through.
2022 Buried Alive EP:
This pop-punk belter EP has songs that you can mosh to, dance to, get ready to, and importantly sing out from the top of your lungs.
FFO Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Evanescence, Against the Current, Pale Waves, even some pure pop more like Britney.
2021 Underdose EP:
Emotional, acoustic, melancholic tracks; vibes more like @radiohead, @christinaperri type ballads with some really raw and vulnerable content.
My honest dream career would include getting to tour and play around venues in my home county and big and little venues with a kick ass band. Probably going on a weight loss montage journey to get the stamina back I’d need to gig regularly.
My favourite part of the music process is hearing beats that spark creativity from producers like @JakeAdkins and @tombaileymusic – I’ll hear a track and can immediately tell if there is a song already playing in my head to it. I really enjoy developing the lyrics and melodies, some songs take 20 minutes, some 20 hours of work and everything in between.
