“Growing up, there was a lot of <a href="spotify:artist:1G9G7WwrXka3Z1r7aIDjI7" data-name="Outkast">Outkast</a> playing in the house, or <a href="spotify:artist:6DPYiyq5kWVQS4RGwxzPC7" data-name="Dr. Dre">Dr. Dre</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7hJcb9fa4alzcOq3EaNPoG" data-name="Snoop Dogg">Snoop Dogg</a>, etc, my Dad would always play CD’s and we would just sit and listen. But it was mainly the radio hits so I didn’t get to really deep dive.”
“It was usually classic rock I grew up around otherwise, <a href="spotify:artist:55vs7NT1KxcFjbMC4y202E" data-name="REO Speedwagon">REO Speedwagon</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3zXw2Eh96iTT51pytzHdZi" data-name="38 Special">38 Special</a>, the <a href="spotify:artist:0ECwFtbIWEVNwjlrfc6xoL" data-name="Eagles">Eagles</a>, I didn’t really get into hip hop/rap/pop until later on, but that set me up to really be able to take inspiration from all genres, which I think is a huge part of creating.”
