Delivering inspiring alternative rock compositions while at the same time flowing in on punk rock's most tricky tunes, Volante makes there own creative way with their elegant and stalwart themes. Comprising a five-piece lineup embodied by drummer Josh Madson, guitarists Jon Mitchell and Jeff Mitchell, and Gabriel Shapiro (vocals, bass), Volante first assembled in 1998 in Minneapolis, MN. Influenced by seemingly different bands like Joy Division and Sunny Day Real Estate, the crew easily began to conquer their own spot within the local underground indie rock scene.
