VØYAGR began as the passion project of singer-songwriters AJ Jabaji, Rachel Josey, and drummer John Morano. Hailing from Buffalo, NY, the band blends indie-folk and country influences crafting songs about faith, loss, and connection. Now joined by bassist Drew Shannon and guitarist Joe Brown, their sound continues to evolve through dynamic musicianship and heartfelt storytelling.
Inspired by artists like Wild Rivers and Donovan Woods, VØYAGR debuted with Lover’s Lie and the EP Think of You (2022), followed by Canyon Winds (2023) and Go On & Get Out (2024). Their rising profile has earned accolades including the 106.5 WYRK Country Riser and All WNY’s Best Country and Folk/Americana Group.
The band has shared stages with some of music's biggest names including Scotty McCreery, Josh Meloy, Drew Baldridge, and in 2025 supported Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, LOCASH, and past winner of The Voice, Huntley. VØYAGR’s debut album, Born a Believer, arrives this fall.
