Quoted to be Grime's reference in Brazil, rapper Sd9, born in Bonsucesso, a neighborhood in the Northern Zone of Rio de Janeiro, has been gaining more and more space and notoriety in the scene. Sd9, which is also part of TBC Mob, an independent collective that brings together other artists from the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, puts a lot of emphasis on their daily lives and that of their offspring. Bailes, women, drugs, crimes and everything else that surrounds the young Brazilian peripheral, but always with a critical social content.
After releasing his first single, entitled "BadBoy", pioneer in the Grime / Funk mix in Brazil, Sd9 was invited to participate in the project "Brazil Grime Show", which had one of the editions aired by "Reprezent" main radios of the genre. Since then Sd9 has been calling even more attention on the scene with great performances in shows and firming his name.
In a unique way and with a unique way of expressing himself, Sd9 is preparing to release new material in 2019, with 1 ep and some ready-made remixes and singles SD9 plans to release its first album this year.
